Salviamo l’Orso is an association of volunteers working to save the Marsican bear from extinction, gathering around it all those who care about the fate of the plantigrade and its natural habitat.<\/h3>\n

The Marsican brown bear is in Critical Danger of Extinction<\/strong> and, despite the renewed commitment and interest of the institutions in charge of its protection, it still shows no signs of a decisive turnaround that could remove it from the danger of extinction.<\/p>\n

In addition to the measures that need to be put into practice by the various agencies in charge of protecting the bear’s environment, a collective awareness<\/strong> is needed that recognizes the battle for the bear’s survival as a cultural emergency not only in the affected regions, but of the entire country.<\/p>\n
