In late August, we worked with a local locksmith to secure a well in the Pizzone area of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.<\/p>\n

This cavity, dangerous for bears and other animals, had been reported to be dangerous back in January, when the Isernia Fire Department had to intervene to save a dog that had fallen inside. Our action is part of the LIFE Bear-Smart Corridors project and was also supported by the City of Pizzone.<\/p>\n

Through this safety work, we reduce risks to wildlife and people who frequent the area.<\/p>\n
