Salviamo L&#8217;Orso among the signatories of a letter addressed to the italian government."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;][et_pb_column _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; theme_builder_area=&#8221;post_content&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>45 associations working in the field of conservation have signed a letter requesting an official meeting with the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, and the Minister of Agriculture, Francesco Lollobrigida, to discuss the bill that aims to reform hunting activity in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>According to the associations, in fact, the DDL has so far only embraced the demands of the hunting world, effectively excluding all those who work daily in the field of nature conservation and protection.<\/p>\n<p>The letter signed by the WWF President, Luciano Di Tizio, highlights the desire to favour only one of the parties involved \u2018bearer of a partial and subordinate interest with respect to the widespread interests, recognised as fundamental values by Article 9 of the Constitution\u2019 that, let us remember, from 9 March 2022 includes the environment, biodiversity and ecosystems, as founding values to be defended also in the interest of future generations, and of which the signatories of the letter are open supporters.<\/p>\n<p>Of particular concern are those proposals that would \u2018further reduce protections for wildlife, protected areas and usable areas with a low environmental impact such as ecotourism and quality agriculture, which are key drivers of sustainable development for communities across the country\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>45 associations working in the field of conservation have signed a letter requesting an official meeting with the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, and the Minister of Agriculture, Francesco Lollobrigida, to discuss the bill that aims to reform hunting activity in Italy.
