On 4 July at 5.30 p.m. at the L. Zordan Conference Centre in L’Aquila, the premi\u00e8re of the documentary ‘The Central Apennines. A history of coexistence’ by award-winning French director Emmanuel Rondeau.<\/p>\n
Through a series of images of the places interspersed with interviews with local communities and personal reflections, the feature film, strongly desired by Rewilding Europe and realised thanks to the sponsor Hogan Lovells, recounts the commitment, passion and efforts with which the people who live in the mountains of the Central Apennines work so that wildlife and human beings can coexist in the long term.<\/p>\n
A commitment that our association shares on a daily basis with our colleagues in Rewilding Apennines, constantly working to restore nature and taking concrete measures to ensure that people and wildlife can always continue to thrive together.<\/p>\n
Among the protagonists is Mario Cipollone, who, in addition to being one of the board members of Salviamo L’Orso, is also the Executive Director of Rewilding Apennines: \u2018This film,\u2019 he said, “is a beautiful journey through evocative places and environments, made up of encounters with those who strongly believe that the return of nature and the power of coexistence can bring about a better future for human communities and the protection of our extraordinary ecosystems. The hope is that a film like this can also instil confidence and inspiration in other people who love the central Apennines and wish to be part of a cultural change in which the balance between nature and people is a concrete, daily commitment’.<\/p>\n
