The lands of the bear don’t know institutional boundaries. Sirente Velino Natural Regional Park’s boundaries have become familiar for the plantigrade.
Camera trap’s images, taken by the Park during the normal monitoring activities, demonstrate this evidence. In fact, the signs of presence of the bear in this territory are more and more frequent. In the past, it was uncommon to find traces of his passage. The bear’s area is expanding: this is good news for the conservation. It proves the crucial role of Sirente Velino territory between protected areas.
