The action to secure farms for the project “A passage for the Bear”, sponsored by AISPA, continues. A few days ago we built an electric fence to protect about three hundred farm animals in an area bordering the Majella National Park where the bear has recently appeared. The owner of the farm replied with this simple and effective sentence: “People do not understand nature” to the comments not really enthusiastic of some residents for the presence of the animal,. We thank the staff of the Majella National Park and the Carabinieri Forestali of Sulmona for their work of surveillance, prevention and sensitization. We thank Brendan Clark for the photos.
