The representatives of Salviamo l’Orso, Rewilding Apennines and Molise Region talked about the main biological characteristic of the species, how to behave for a peaceful coexistence in the same territory and what are the prevention measures to take for avoiding conflicts. Moreover, some operational tools for the bear conservation have been described, such as some actions of PATOM – the sanitary ones, in particular – and the monitoring network for Abruzzo and Molise. In the end, Roberta Latini , biologist of Abruzzo, Lazio e and Molise National Park, shared her own experience, giving to people even some interesting insights about those values, that everybody care about, that can make us to answer the question “Why do we save the bear?”
