Investigations following the discovery of a wolf dead in a snare in December 2012, which led to monitor the movements of a person suspected of having committed the crime, the rangers of the Simbruini Regional Park reported on bail a 54-year-old man filmed by hidden cameras while placing again some snares that the rangers had deliberately tampered after the discovery. The criminal seizure of the five laces was carried out, later confirmed by the Court.
