This week our Vet, Dr. Luca Tomei, vaccinated 30 dogs in Valle Roveto and Rosciolo dei Marsi, mainly Abruzzo sheepdogs, precious allies of breeders in defending the herds from the “attention” of wolves and bears. Eight dogs were registered in the canine registry. This action aims to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases from dogs to wildlife, as envisaged by the project “Caring for dogs saves the bears”, which we have been carrying out since 2014, in the last two years thanks to the support of TENT.
