The teams of Salviamo l’Orso and Rewilding Apennines are expanding with a new colleague. Small but enthusiastic, Wild is a Malinois breed dog that we are training to create our first anti-poison canine unit, thanks to the support of Patagonia.
Wild and Julien Leboucher, his handler, will form a team with a special mission: to intervene promptly in case of suspected poisoning and to carry out preventive inspections in areas and periods of higher risk in the Central Apennines.
