In the photo below, you can see the snow situation at 1880 meters in Ovindoli on December 29th. This situation raises important questions about the recent investment of millions of euros in the new facilities in Valle delle Lenzuola.
The question arises spontaneously: was it really necessary to spend millions of euros in public funds for these new facilities, and, above all, was it justified to destroy a piece of mountain protected by the Regional Park and the Natura 2000 Network?
The enthusiastic proclamations of the Mayor and Governor Marsilio, made when our appeal against the authorization for the construction of the facilities was rejected by the Council of State, now take on a different light. The current reality raises doubts about the validity of the investment and its coherence with environmental protection.
It is sad to note yet another waste of public money at the expense of mountains and nature that, once again, seem to be mistreated. The issue goes beyond the economic aspect, involving values related to environmental sustainability and the preservation of our natural heritage.
In this context, it is crucial to reflect on the responsible management of public resources and the importance of carefully assessing environmental impacts before undertaking projects of such magnitude.
